Lets Talk about Knockoffs

I’ve been making my handmade Fairy earrings and jewelry since 2015, I make every piece of jewelry myself in my basement studio of my home. I take great pride in the quality of my art and it took me quite some time to perfect my unique prcess of making my fairy wings and butterflies. In 2019 I became aware that my designs were being stolen by Chinese factories and mass produced as cheap quality knockoffs. they took out many many fb ads as well as creatings several fake websites to sell their scam work on. You can sadly see many of the comments of the people who got scammed by them.

Since then scores of sites like wish, zulily, dollskill and independent copy websites and etsy shop fronts have popped up selling these cheap copies of my work. they also steal my own product photos and customer reviews to promote their cheap quality work that looks nothing like the quality in my stolen photos.

Below you can see some of the scam site advertisements using my photos and my stolen customer reviews. they were even too lazy to remove the reviews that ACTUALLY FEATURE THE EARRINGS ON MY BUSINESS CARD!!!

This has been a Huge issue for many independent artists on etsy. These knockoffs make a hard task of making a living off of our art even harder by flooding the market with low quality versions of our work, stealing away customers for our designs. Not only is this disheartening on it’s own, but I also receive tons of messages accusing me of marking off Chinese knockoffs, or stealing my own work from other websites. It’s incredibly disheartening to have to deal with this battle year after year.

Introducing: Handmade Dice!

I’m hard at work here at the fairy stitch factory working on a line of hand crafted resin dice with our own magical fairy flair. Each set of dice is going to be meticulously hand cast, sanded and polished here in house and will take several hours per set for us to create. I hope you will enjoy the craftsmanship and unique quality of each set of D&D dice.

All of my dice are hand molded from my custom Fairy Stitch Factory logo master dice I've finished myself, and they hand cast, sanded, inked and polished either by hand or in a vibratory tumbler. Each set of dice can take over 2 weeks to complete, crafted with love and care to bring a little magic to your gaming table.
